The anticipated summer release of Universal’s Jurassic World, the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park film series, make Velociraptors and T. Nine separate galleries dedicated to the long-ago inhabitants of Canada include Cretaceous Alberta, a preparation lab where technicians ready dinosaur remains for display, and Lords of the Land, where the famed Albertosaurus found by geologist J. B. Tyrrell holds center stage.

Visit the active dig site at Devil’s Coulee Dinosaur & Heritage Museum in Warner, where the rare Acrotholus audeti, a small type of pachycephalosaur, is on display. Numerous hands-on educational experiences include tours of Devil’s Coulee Dinosaur Egg Site, with the chance to identify fossils in their original setting and witness a paleontologist and crew at work on an excavation. One- and two-day summer camp opportunities are available for various age groups (6–10 and 10–13). Camps include daytime dinosaur tours and activities, campfire and showing of the 2006 20th Century Fox film Night at the Museum.
