Delta Air Lines is updating its SkyMiles program. Changes include lower one-way awards, improved booking tools and the ability to earn Medallion Qualification Dollars on partner airlines.
In addition to new one-way award tickets beginning at 10,000 miles plus taxes and fees (through Dec. 31 for travel in select U.S., Mexican and Caribbean markets), updates to Delta’s SkyMiles program include:
- Expanded roster of airline partners that SkyMiles members can select to redeem for award travel on delta.com
- Earned Medallion Qualification Dollars regardless of ticketing carrier, for travel on most of Delta’s airline partners
- SkyMiles members will receive Medallion Qualification Dollars for eligible partner flights retroactive to Jan. 1, 2015.
