News

Delta Air Lines adds three daily flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport from Seattle (SEA).

Delta will now serve all of the top 10 Seattle destinations, as it continues its fifth consecutive year of growth at its Pacific Northwest hub. Service to ORD will begin June 19; however flights are available for purchase.

“We have built a robust network from Seattle to key United States West, Midwest and East destinations over the last few years, complementing service to Europe, Asia and Latin American,” said John Caldwell, vice president, Seattle, Delta Air Lines. “Adding Chicago fulfills a key part of our vision for the Pacific Northwest and provides our customers access to all of the most important destinations from Seattle.”

The flights will operate on the Airbus A319 aircraft featuring high-resolution screens with free entertainment, USB power ports, large overhead bins, ambient lighting and newly designed lavatories.

Earlier this year, the carrier announced the addition of seven new non-stop destinations: Austin, Texas (AUS); Eugene, Ore. (EUG); Lihue, Hawai’i (LIH); Milwaukee, Wisc. (MKE); Nashville, Tenn. (BNA); Raleigh, N.C. (RDU); and Redmond, Ore. (RDM). This summer Delta will offer more than 160 peak-day flights to 50 destinations from its Seattle hub. Customers flying in Seattle have access to a global network throughout North America including service to all of the top West Coast destinations; access to the East Coast and Midwest through hubs; new or expanded non-stop flights; and flights to the top destinations in Hawai’i and key Alaskan and Canadian cities.
