Conrad is set to make its Malaysian debut with Conrad Kuala Lumpur. The new 544-room hotel will sit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and is expected to open in 2021.
“We are delighted to grow our luxury brand presence with our first Conrad property in Malaysia,” said Martin Rinck, executive vice president and global head, luxury and lifestyle group, Hilton.
The new hotel will be part of a mixed-use development roughly one hour from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
When the hotel opens, it will feature an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants and a bar. The hotel will be perfect for business and leisure travellers, with enough space for large-scale meetings. There will also be a full fitness centre, spa and pool.
Hilton currently operates 11 properties across three brands in Malaysia.
