COMO Uma Canggu in Bali recently debuted COMO Culinary Odyssey, a year-long program showcasing Bali’s unique culinary traditions. Throughout the year, the program highlights a different region in Bali, allowing guests to experience the island’s diverse cuisine.

The culinary journey begins in Bangli, hometown of the resort’s executive chef.

“Bangli holds a special place in my heart as it’s where I grew up,” said Kadek Sugiantara, executive chef, COMO Uma Canggu. “Through this menu, I hope to share the flavors of my childhood and the vibrant culinary traditions of my hometown, offering guests a true taste of Bali’s heritage.”

Signature dishes are made with local ingredients, utilizing traditional techniques. The menu includes a savory fish dish with Balinese spices and a dessert made from crispy sweet potato, steamed cassava and coconut sauce. The special menu is available through March 31.

The rest of the year will highlight five other regions in Bali: Gianyar in April and May, Buleleng in June and July, Karangasem in August and September, Jembrana in October and November, and Klungkung in December and the festive season.
