The Hamilton Crowne Plaza D.C. and its signature restaurant 14K invite travelers to celebrate the month of love with a romantic travel special through February and a special Valentine’s Day dinner in the nation’s capital offered Feb. 12–14.

Guests can book the Valentine’s Romance special at the 1920s boutique-style hotel for an additional $30 added to the special offer rate at time of booking during the month of February and enjoy luxurious accommodations for two, Champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival, breakfast for two and late check-out.

The hotel’s famed 14K restaurant and lounge, overlooking Franklin Square Park, also serves an exclusive fixed-price dinner menu and the option to enjoy an unlimited Champagne bar and/or mini-martini flight selection. Available each night 5–9 p.m., the dinner is available at $60 per person with an optional add-on for the Champagne bar for $15 and the mini-martini flight selection for $19.95.

First course options include Atlantic smoked salmon with red beets and salade russe; shellfish bisque with scallop, lobster, red pepper and smoked fennel froth; prosciutto with wild mushroom-asparagus salad and balsamic truffle emulsion; or goat cheese salad with carrots, strawberries, raspberries, green beans, tomatoes and Champagne vinaigrette.

For the entrée, guests may select pan-seared sea scallops with spinach risotto and Provençale sauce; grilled filet mignon with potato gratin, broccolini, garlic, tomatoes and chianti sauce; roasted rack of lamb with basmati-chickpea rice, zucchini, grape tomatoes and red pepper lamb jus; or seared Chilean sea bass with stir-fry French beans, fingerling potatoes and chili ginger sauce.

Dessert specials include a chocolate sponge cake with raspberry jam and chocolate ganache; a crepe filled with cinnamon apples; or cheesecake with sugar-whipped sour cream and bourbon-glazed strawberries.

Drink add-ons include a selection of Champagne-based beverage creations from 14K’s talented mixologist or mini martinis such as the Secret Admirer, comprised of vodka, pomegranate juice and Champagne; the Box of Chocolate, including Godiva chocolate, crème de cocao, vanilla vodka and half and half; the French Kiss, made of Chambord, Godiva white chocolate, vodka, crème de cocoa and half and half; or the Romantic Sunset, including raspberry vodka, pineapple juice, triple sec and grenadine.
