Cebu Pacific teamed with OpenAirlines and SkyBreathe to save fuel and reduce emissions. OpenAirlines’ SkyBreathe software analyzes flight data and fuel consumption patterns under its fuel management system to optimize flight operations. Using data from each flight, SkyBreathe helps airlines develop a fuel-saving plan to reduce both costs and emissions. Currently, SkyBreathe is monitoring flight data for all 57 of Cebu Pacific’s aircraft; plans are in place for SkyBreathe to additionally monitor 48 ordered aircraft.
