Indulge in Wellness in an Oasis of Calm Aboard the New “Queen Anne”

The London traffic seemed to slog even slower than usual. The ride seemed never-ending. The anticipation was palpable. I was on a bus with fellow media, making our way from London’s Leicester Square to Southampton, England, to be among the first to step aboard Queen Anne, the first new cruise ship from Cunard Line in 14 years, just as it joined its sister royalty — Queen Mary II, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria — in plying the globe’s waters. With a capacity for 2,996 guests and measuring 1,058 feet in length, Queen Anne sails itineraries in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Western Europe and the Canary Islands.

Seoul: Your Next MICE Destination

Seoul has rapidly become a leading global MICE hub, known for its rich culture, advanced technology and strong economy. As the capital of South Korea, it offers a strategic location in East Asia and a booming cultural influence through K-pop, K-movies, Korean cuisine and K-dramas. With its vibrant atmosphere and business-friendly environment, Seoul is increasingly the top choice for MICE organizers and corporate travelers seeking connection and collaboration.

Indulge in Luxurious Wellness at Spa Montage Healdsburg

At Montage Healdsburg, amid a hilly patchwork of grapevines, rosemary bushes, scrub oaks and eucalyptus, my day starts with a swim in the resort’s immense pool. Positioned 20 feet above the terrain, it seems to float above the surrounding vineyards. It’s dark when I start my strokes, but by the time I finish, a veil of amber light begins to illuminate the landscape. The sun’s rays spill into the rows of fat grapes, fusing with snippets of fog for a swirling effect. I hop out of the water to drink it all in, suddenly reminded of the night before, the way I swirled the resort’s own house-made wine in my glass, sniffing and (gratefully) quaffing it.
