Casa de Campo, the 7,000-acre luxury resort and golf destination in La Romana, Dominican Republic, announced beloved tenor Andrea Bocelli is set to perform April 4 to kick off the resort’s 2015 concert series. Bocelli’s performance will be held at Altos de Chavon, the 5,000-seat Grecian-style amphitheater, at 8 p.m.

Bocelli has sold more than 80 million records during his career, and performed sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall, the Wiener Staatsoper and the Metropolitan Opera House. As a shining example of the Italian vocal tradition, he’s recorded operas, including La Bohème, Tosca, Il Trovatore, Werther, Pagliacci, Carmen and many more. Additionally, his philanthropic organization, Andrea Bocelli Foundation, spreads messages of positivity, hope and perseverance while supporting scientific research, the fight against poverty and universal primary education.

Tickets begin at $107 for general admission, $265 for VIP and $717 for special guests. In celebration of the performance, Casa de Campo is offering a rate of $557 per night/per guest, including a ticket to the concert, accommodations, food, drink and unlimited horseback riding, tennis and non-motorized water sports at Minitas Beach. The offer is valid March 29–April 8, with a three-night minimum stay required.

Casa de Campo La Romana International Airport is five minutes from the resort, with direct flights offered by JetBlue and American Airlines. Santo Domingo (SDQ) and Punta Cana (PUJ) are also nearby.
