The Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will make its first appearance in Vietnam with the opening of Radisson Blu Cam Ranh Bay in the first quarter of 2019. The hotel group recently signed the new beach-side property alongside Eurowindow Nha Trang Investment and Tourism Joint Stock Company.
Carlson Rezidor plans to extend their efforts in the country, focusing on resort and tourist destinations such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and others. The Vietnamese government’s recent push toward tourism and their relaxation of visa regulations means a positive outlook for hospitality in the region, with international visitor numbers continuing to grow over the last two years.
“As we grow across Asia Pacific, we are pleased to expand our footprint into Vietnam and into a segment that is currently underserved in the region. This latest Radisson Blu flagship will provide international and domestic travelers with a full range of innovative design-led products and services…” said Thorsten Kirschke, president, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.
The Radisson Blu Cam Ranh Bay property will feature 290 guestrooms only four kilometers from Cam Ranh International Airport. The property will also offer 40 villas, 800 meters of beach access, meeting and event facilities, two restaurants, a bar, a pool and easy access to many of the region’s top tourist attractions.
