California invites visitors and locals alike to experience some of Hilton’s newest hotel openings and renovations this year. Set to debut this fall, Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton lies between Malibu, and Santa Barbara, in Oxnard, California. Following a multimillion-dollar renovation and conversion, the resort will accept reservations beginning Oct. 1.
Some new highlights of the resort include elevated culinary offerings at Ox & Ocean, a restaurant serving refined cuisine and craft cocktails, and Sugar Beats, a converted Airsteam trailer offering roasted coffee, on-the-go meals in the morning, and evening features like fresh-caught seafood, handhelds, locally crafted beers and canned cocktails. The resort will also feature the new Henry’s Sundries and Gear Rental, a shop for guests to rent bikes, boogie boards, GoPros, longboards, gaming systems and more.
Another exciting hotel hitting the California scene can be found in San Jose. Signia by Hilton San Jose, Signia by Hilton’s first hotel in California, recently opened to the public. With 805 rooms, a never-before-seen lobby and intriguing bar, this hotel serves as the perfect retreat for business leaders and cultural tastemakers.
The hotel is currently undergoing a modernization of its Main Tower, slated for completion in early 2023. Highlights of the new hotel include stunning views from guestrooms of the Santa Cruz mountains and downtown San Jose, and a bar serving a unique Japanese dining experience with an expansive list of Japanese whisky, sake and pisco. Opening later this spring, the property will soon include an alfresco pool oasis and The Pool Bar, featuring vegetable- and vegan-friendly dishes, an expansive drink program and live music.
