The Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai debuted last week as the sixth property in the Bvlgari hospitality collection.
The riverside location is near plentiful green space, as well as popular attractions and shopping. Set within a 48-story tower, the hotel provides views of the Bund and Pudong skyline. The Italian-inspired brand combines its classic taste with Chinese modernity and heritage, most noticeably in the fine-dining restaurant and ballroom, housed in the historic restored Chamber of Commerce Shanghai.
“Guests seeking a VIP experience in Shanghai, where Italian styling is only elevated by Asian hospitality, should look no further than Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai,” said Albert Herrera, senior vice president of global product partnerships, Virtuoso. “Each of those cultures is a master in their discipline, and when you combine them, it is truly something special. Views that soar over the Bund will remind guests of Shanghai’s heritage, juxtaposed against Bvlgari’s modern and chic setting.”
The spacious accommodations include 63 guestrooms and 19 suites. Guestrooms on the top eight floors of the tower boast magnificent views, walk-in closets, marble soaking tubs, rain showers and heated toilets.
Luxury amenities include complimentary Maserati limousine service, in-room check-in, carbon-fiber MOMO bike usage, turndown tea infusion service and more. The hotel also offers art and history tours.
Six on-site dining options are available, including a contemporary Italian eatery led by a Michelin-starred chef and a Chinese haute-cuisine restaurant. The spa and fitness center contains eight treatment rooms, vitality pools, salt saunas, steam rooms, rainforest showers, fitness studios and an indoor pool.
