It’s nearly time for the 20th edition of the Brussels Jazz Marathon, rolling into the city May 22–24. More than 450 performers will entertain visitors with jazz, blues, world beat and funk music. Entrance is free to all at multiple central venues that include the Grand Place, Place du Sablon, Place St. Catherine and Place Fernand Cocq — along with an additional 50 clubs and hotels.
Festival events include a matinee for children and shuttle buses running throughout town to move music fans from place to place. Shuttles run every 20 minutes between Central Station and Yser stop, plus the Place du Luxembourg, Place Flagey, Cemetery of Ixelles, Place de Saint-Gilles, the Grand Sablon and the Bourse.
