The architect and design team behind Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp honors the former monastery by connecting historic features with contemporary design. Centuries-old wooden beams and original brickwork meld with modern artwork. The monastery’s kitchen now serve as the property’s dining rooms. Guestrooms and suites are individually designed with warm colors, artwork from local artists and curated antiques.

It is the only hotel in Belgium with four Michelin stars at three of its five restaurants (2 Michelin-star Hertog Jan, 1 Michelin-star Fine Fleur and 1 Michelin-star Het Gebaar). The massive spa boasts 10 treatment rooms spanning three floors. Choose from state-of-the-art treatments utilizing holistic practices. The facilities also feature a Finnish sauna, steam bath and 59-foot swimming pool.
