If you follow our blogs and social media channels, you may have seen Global Traveler’s sister web publication WhereverFamily is celebrating the sixth annual Wherever Awards at Kimpton Hotel Monaco in Washington, D.C. on April 13. These awards celebrate the best in family travel, including airlines, cruises, credit cards and destinations, as voted by our readers in an open-ended survey.
Part of my role here at FXExpress Publications is to help plan events. Thinking of and executing themes, coordinating all things entertainment and connecting with our winners are just a few of the things I love about being part of this process. Seeing this culminate into a successful evening to honor our winners is always such a good way to celebrate their achievements. For the Wherever Awards coming up in just two weeks, our theme is Wherever in Paris. This elegant evening is set to be hosted in the Paris Ballroom of Kimpton Hotel Monaco in D.C. with French-inspired food and beverages, including Champagne, a charcuterie table, pastries and hors d’oeuvres. Throughout the award presentation and cocktail hour, there will be live music performed by French bistro jazz band Les Zazous. I am excited for the coming event, as we’ll get to see the results of our work while enjoying a fantastic evening!
We look forward to welcoming you to the sixth annual Wherever Awards to help celebrate our winners and enjoy great food and entertainment. If you have not already RSVPed to attend the event, please do so here.
