My First Time in Dallas
This week the Global Traveler team headed to Dallas for the 2023 GBTA Conference hosted at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. While the team met up on Sunday, I went down a day early to check out the city and see some of the Dallas sights, as this was my first time in Texas.

Visiting Philadelphia
It's always enjoyable to visit Philadelphia, especially around the Fourth of July. The city was vibrant and energetic. The Logan Hotel, A Hilton Curio, in Logan Square was the ideal location for my stay, situated between the museum complex and Center City. I had a sense of déjà vu upon arrival, as if I had been there before. I then recalled it had been the Four Seasons (since relocated) during a prior stay. I was upgraded to a large, quiet room with a lovely view of the courtyard and great amenities, and appreciated the excellent service by the staff.

Business in Los Angeles
For those of you who have read my previous blogs, I wanted to make sure you didn’t think I only went on hikes and did things with my family. So I figured I would write about a recent business trip I took to Los Angeles. Nothing like flying across the country to stay two nights and flying back, but it was a great trip. The weather certainly could have been warmer, but this guy from Pennsylvania is not going to complain about being in the California sun for two days.
