Could someone please tell me how it’s mid-October already? Fall is my favorite season, and it’s going way too fast, especially considering I’m about to spend the rest of the month in warm-weather destinations.

While you are reading this blog, I’ll be en route to Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi via Royal Air Maroc’s new Boeing 787 service from Washington Dulles International Airport to Casablanca (CMN). Look for more reports of the experience in future issues.

At the end of the month, I head to Los Angeles for our annual Globility Board meeting where I will present the 2017 redesign to our handpicked subscriber board. The board will also hear from Saudi Arabian Airlines, United Airlines and Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, our host venue for the event. I tacked on a few extra days in the City of Angels to learn more about the upcoming Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and to celebrate Singapore Airlines’ new flight.

In November a friend and I are heading down south for my first visit to Charleston. In addition to celebrating a friend’s engagement, we are looking forward to checking out the city’s historic mansions, eating at famed restaurants and staying at the Belmond Charleston Place and the French Quarter Inn.

Finally, December brings me back to California. First for a weekend at Terranea Resort and then to Los Angeles to celebrate the 13^th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards, again at The Peninsula Beverly Hills.

To kick off 2017, I’m seeking sunshine and taking a six-day jaunt to Orlando, Fla. How is it time to already start thinking about 2017?
