January felt like an eternity, February lasted two seconds, and March started off gray and snowy.
While I long for pearly white-sand beaches and piña coladas in 70-degree weather, the rain and snow didn’t stop me from surprising my boyfriend with a helicopter tour of New York City on his 30th birthday.
The HeliFlights staff was super-friendly and helpful, and our pilot was great. The 35-minute tour took us around some of the most popular NYC attractions, among them the Empire State Building, Central Park, Governors Island, the Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, Yankee Stadium and others.
The views were amazing despite a couple of clouds — I can only imagine how beautiful it all looks in the summertime. If you ever wonder what haven’t you done in NYC, I highly recommend you check out these guys. It makes a great gift for any occasion.
