As many of our readers know, Global Traveler‘s latest addition, GT Select Hotels & Resorts, launched just last week. PER AQUUM Huvafen Fushi Maldives is one of the program’s honored charter members and a property where any leisure or luxury traveler would be delighted to stay. Located in the North Malé Atoll, the property is a short boat ride from the airport. Upon arrival, guests will find over forty different extravagant bungalows and pavilions to choose from. Each option is fitted with complimentary WiFi, a stocked minibar, top-of-the-line sound systems and a private pool. If you can be bothered to leave the luxurious accommodations for dinner, you’ll find several delicious dining choices as well as the Maldives’ first underground wine cellar. You can even take your meal on the road with a sailing dining experience among the breathtaking lagoon waters. In addition, guests will find opportunities to go diving, big-game fishing, snorkeling and shark spotting. The LIME spa, which includes two popular underwater treatment rooms, offers a variety of ocean-inspired treatments.
