Last night I visited The Logan in Philadelphia to experience its Holiday Lodge Suite. Located in its signature James Logan Suite, the festive suite is available to book for overnights or for an evening of fun with your group.
The 1,400-square-foot suite boasts festive holiday decorations including a Christmas tree, holiday pillows, garland and mistletoe. There is a pool table, dining room table for six and televisions in the living room and bedroom. It’s a great space for a staycation, quick getaway or a cozy evening with friends.
Upon arrival I helped myself to the spiked hot chocolate bar. I topped my hot chocolate with homemade whipped cream, peppermint crumbles and a splash of bourbon. This amenity is available when booking the suite. An eggnog bar cart is also available. I enjoyed a selection of light bites from on-site Urban Farmer restaurant. Seasonal food and beverages are available to order during your stay.
A Christmas Story was playing on the living room television, and a selection of other Christmas movies were also available on DVD. The Logan hosts a special family-friendly event in the suite Dec. 11, 2–5 p.m. The Holiday Magic Experience features a welcome drink for the adults, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a take-home box of Christmas cookies with a decorating kit. Complimentary valet parking is available.
The suite is available to book now, through Dec. 31.
Overnight rates start at $500, and evening rentals start at $250.
