This blog returns once more to my third 5K race of the year, this one in a historic area of Jacksonville. Named the Festival of Lights, this fun event sees neighborhood streets lined with lamplights and candles along the edges, and some runners don festive outfits.

United Airlines First to Purchase Sustainable Aviation Fuel for ORD
Chicago O’Hare International Airport will soon receive sustainable aviation fuel, all thanks to United Airlines, which became the first airline to purchase SAF for use at the airport, one of the largest in the United States. Neste, a producer of SAF, will provide up to 1 million gallons of its Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel. The first supply arrived in August.
Christmas Village in Philadelphia: A Cherished Tradition
Every holiday season, Philadelphia transforms into a magical wonderland with its beloved Christmas Village. Nestled in LOVE Park and City Hall, the marketplace is filled with twinkling lights, festive vendors and delicious food that my family and I look forward to every year. It opens just after Thanksgiving with the vendors opening their Christmas-themed huts.
Christmas in Cape May
This past weekend I traveled to Cape May, New Jersey, with two of my cousins — more like best friends. The three of us started a tradition of having a girls’ weekend “down the shore” in each season of the year, creating countless memories on every trip.

Missing Christmas Lights … Already
It might be mid-January already, but the cold month right after Christmas leaves me missing the lights and festivities of December. Before Christmas I went to a house a short drive from me to see some of the best Christmas lights you’ll ever find in front of someone’s home.
