When traveling or visiting a particular hotel or restaurant, I always like to try the brand’s signature dish or cocktail. When Global Traveler‘s editor in chief Kim Krol and I stayed at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, we learned that their Gin & Tonic is a must-try cocktail in the hotel bar.

Unfortunately for us, our business schedule only allowed for breakfast — non-boozy, that is. On my next trip I’m hoping to experience an Omni property where I can not only try one of their seven candidate-crafted cocktails but also be a part of predicting America’s next president. The hotel brand has launched the “Polling for Cocktails” campaign. Omni will be keeping an ongoing tally of the orders of their political party-themed cocktails to see if they can predict our new Commander in Chief!

Hilla-rita or Trump-tini, anyone? I’d have to say that this may be a bit more fun than going to the local polling place to cast a vote.
