This past Tuesday, Global Traveler celebrated its 12^th annual Wines on the Wing airline wine survey. Held in New York City each year, this year’s event took place at Meliá’s INNSIDE New York NoMad in Manhattan. Wine professionals gathered at the property to judge wines currently served on international first- and business-class flights and those served on first- and business-class flights that begin and end in North America. Judging is blind to ensure the winning wines are selected strictly on the quality of the samples. Here are this year’s participants: Air Canada, All Nippon Airways, Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, China Airlines, Delta Air Lines, EL AL Israel Airlines, Emirates, Fiji Airways, Hainan Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, La Compagnie, LATAM/LAN, Singapore Airlines, TAP Portugal, Virgin America and Virgin Atlantic.
