I recently had the opportunity to experience French bee’s premium economy class, Premium Blue, on a roundtrip to Paris (ORY). My trip began out of Miami International Airport ,where I was able to seamlessly check my bag and receive a printed boarding pass in the dedicated line for Premium Blue passengers.

I soon found my gate and began gathering all my travel necessities for the nine-hour flight. Premium Blue passengers were given a dedicated priority line to begin boarding; in no time I was on the plane. Upon entering I was greeted by the staff who pointed me in the right direction to my seat. Inside, the seating followed a 2-3-2 configuration. A branded French bee pillow and blanket were neatly folded in my seat, waiting for my arrival and setting the tone for the flight.

After settling in I was greeted by a flight attendant with the option of juice, water or Champagne. I decided on Champagne as it seemed the best way to begin my trip. While sipping on Champagne I familiarized myself with the vast options on the large entertainment screen in front of me. Many movies and TV shows were available along with interactive games to keep passengers entertained. I particularly enjoyed the accessibility of the plane camera and the map of the flight’s progress.French bee French bee

Before takeoff the crew distributed an amenity kit that included large blue socks, a toothbrush and toothpaste, an eye sleep mask, and earbuds. I was given a hot, wet, lemon-scented towel to feel refreshed and clean before dinner service began. I opted for the tasty chicken Parmesan pasta paired with a dinner roll and a side of butter. Appetizers included a refreshing salad topped with grilled chicken and a side of Camembert and strawberries. For dessert, a rich chocolate brownie and an Almond Joy provided a perfect way to end dinner. Meals were served with choices of juice, soda, water or tea. After dinner I enjoyed a hot tea to unwind and relax during the flight.

During my flight I enjoyed reading Iron Flame, the second book in the The Empyrean Series. The seat was spacious, and the pillow and blanket were a great touch, adding to my comfort. I was able to catch up on some much-needed z’s.

I woke up just in time for the breakfast service. Breakfast included strawberry yogurt, a roll with jam and butter along with a croissant. The meal was just the right amount and was paired with juice of my choosing.

We soon arrived in Paris (ORY), where I seamlessly secured my checked bag. Overall, my flight was effortless and enjoyable. French bee delivered an exceptional Premium Blue experience from start to finish.

Nature and Nordic Culture Ensure a Perfect Pace for Exploring Stockholm

Crowned the “Capital of Scandinavia,” Stockholm stands at the epicenter of modern Nordic movements that — much like their Viking forebears — have swept across the globe. From art to design to cuisine, the Swedish city entices business and leisure travelers alike. Also fitting for its Viking history: the capital’s waterfront positioning, situated across 14 islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. For a country that infamously sees little sunshine in the winter months, outdoor pursuits remain popular year-round, from hiking to sailing to ice-skating.
