This past weekend I attended the Philadelphia Eagles versus New York Giants playoff game. Admittedly, I’m not a huge football fan, though I’ve always rooted for the Eagles. I went to an Eagles game once before, but attending a playoff game was a completely different experience.

My husband and I had plans earlier in the day, so we missed the tailgate with our family. We took the train to the stadium area and arrived about an hour before kickoff. We could feel the energy of the tailgaters the moment we walked out of the train station. We joined in on the Eagles chant as we passed groups of fans before making our way into the stadium.

Our tickets included access to one of the club levels, where we met our family. After grabbing some food and drinks, we made our way to our seats. The energy was incredible in the stadium and only continued as the Eagles scored three touchdowns in the first half of the game. At halftime we went back into the club level for more refreshments and to use the restrooms. Our tickets also included field access passes. When the third quarter started, we made our way to the field. It was so fun having the opportunity to walk on the field. There was a big group of fans in the same spot, and the view was limited, so we made our way back to our seats to watch the Eagles win 38–7.

I felt lucky to be able to attend such a fun playoff game, especially with an Eagles win!
