To me, there’s nothing better than breakfast food. When I was little, I hated everything from sunny-side up eggs to banana pancake, but, thankfully, I’ve grown into all of the above.  
 
My family, more specifically my Dad, loves to eat when traveling, and sometimes we love traveling to eat. We have been eyeing a restaurant located in upstate New York called Cartwright’s Maple Tree Inn for a few years now and are hoping this will be the year we will finally go.
 
Cartwright’s is known for their fresh pancakes and maple syrup, as this is all they serve there from February through April (they are closed the rest of the year). They serve plain pancakes, pancakes with meat, pancakes with eggs — anything you could imagine. For those who aren’t pancake lovers and are just along for the ride, they have burgers and desserts as well.
 
The Maple Tree Inn first started serving pancakes in 1963 and has been making fresh maple syrup since the 1850s. The restaurant has been kept in the family and handed down generation to generation, so you are guaranteed to get authentic pancakes people have been enjoying for about 50 years.
 
If I were you, I’d make your travel arrangements now, as this little restaurant gets busy in the few months they are open!
