About a month ago, my husband found out he would be transferred for work from York, Pennsylvania, to Greenville, North Carolina. And although it was unexpected, we decided to see it as a fun, new adventure.
We have longtime friends who recently moved to that area, and they have been showing us around.
On a recent trip, we visited the town of Washington, situated right on the Pamlico River. There are cute shops and a quaint little waterfront restaurant, Backwater Jacks Tiki Bar, that serves some great Cuban sandwiches and Reubens!
We are looking forward to our move and to exploring all the surrounding areas.
