Summertime means festivals galore. They have arrived! It’s time to start booking tickets for all the best festivals summer brings. Some of my personal favorites are food festivals. In Southern California we have 626 Night Market. We caught the last weekend of its time in Orange County, and here are some of my findings.
Craving noodles? You’ll find an array of noods from pho to yakitori and garlic noodles, so eat to your heart’s content. We found some unique eats.
- Creative Bao by Baozza — your favorite Italian flavor combinations in bao

Great form of potato delivery.
- Grilled lobster on garlic noodles
Nothing like grilled seafood.
- Arepas
Cheesy arepas.
And my favorite discovery of the night, Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake. They have seven brick-and-mortar locations across California where you can have a bite of this delectable cloud-soft Japanese cheesecake.
This is what is so great about food festivals: foods from all around the world in one experience. For anyone looking to enjoy this adventure, you can catch an event through the rest of the summer in the Bay Area, Santa Anita Park (in Arcadia) or the mini version in Santa Monica. See more here.
