To allow visitors to safely and responsibly enjoy their trip to Barbados, the island announced streamlined port entry protocols. Barbados’ Ministry of Health and Wellness released the following protocols for all travelers planning on coming to the island.

Prior to embarkation, the Barbados Ministry of Health and Wellness requires each cruise line to conduct health assessments of each traveler on board. These assessments include questions to identify symptoms that indicate each traveler’s health status prior to embarkation.

Travelers must take and receive a negative result from a standard, rapid PCR or Antigen test within three days of arriving on transit calls and embarking at their respective homeports. Fully vaccinated guests who have a negative Antigen test within three days of arrival will be permitted free shore leave.

Following approval of a negative test, guests will only be permitted to disembark and take “bubble excursions.” These excursions include tours approved for sale by tour operators as authorized by cruise lines and tours approved for sale by independent tour operators and taxi operators as authorized by the Government of Barbados following the proper health and security requirements.

Before unrestricted access to the destination is permitted, guests who disembark and stay on the island for a post-cruise stay must present a negative standard or rapid PCR. These guests may also be swabbed onboard their cruise ship, at Bridgetown Port or at their accommodations.

Brasserie Mon Chou Chou Review

What happens when three of the six French nationals residing in San Antonio get together? If they happen to be from a long line of proud French gourmands from three different regions of the country, they take what they know and make it something proudly Texan, while still adhering to their separate and collective culinary roots. That’s exactly what happened as a result of those three — Executive Chef Laurent Réa of Strasbourg, Philippe Placé of Chartres, and Jérôme Sérot of Lyon — meeting 20 years ago.
