With five resorts dotted across the Maldives, and one soon to reopen in Sri Lanka, Sun Siyam Resorts offers unforgettable experiences and affordable luxury for couples, families, watersport enthusiasts and travelers looking to make a difference. From the biggest floating water park and first horse ranch in the Maldives to stunning overwater villas with slides into the ocean, a floating platform, romantic dining experience and the world’s first underwater jet pack in collaboration with Cudajet, Sun Siyam Resorts is truly distinct.

In this world of climate change and threatened environments, regenerative travel has become a necessity. The Sun Siyam Cares program was developed to not only care for the earth, but also for the community and the people within and around the organization. They are committed to the preservation of local heritage and sustainability, and the group works together with local islands to protect various species and engage in activities such as coral planting and bio farming. Guests can actively make a difference and leave the stunning Maldives knowing they had the experience of a lifetime, but also made a difference for future generations.

The group consists of five resorts in the Maldives. Four are accessible by seaplane and one by speedboat (Olhuveli), with two guest airport lounges newly added for the ultimate relaxation and pampering. Its boutique beach retreat on the East Coast of Sri Lanka reopens this summer after a full renovation.

The group also boasts extraordinary amenities including award-winning chefs and world-class dining with an affordable ease offered through luxury, all-inclusive meal plans, as well as a focus on wellness, with unique spa services and partners. Resorts also include the ultimate in adventure with professional diving schools on site, extraordinary water sports offerings, unique adventures including secret shipwrecks and more.

One of the five resorts, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, is a 52-acre, 5-star island and “affordable luxury” playground with 221 villas and suites, perfect for couples, families and friends. Luxury dine-around meal plans allow guests to explore 14 restaurants and bars, including an award-winning French restaurant. At Iru Fushi, all kids under 15 eat and sleep for free; a kids club is available for little ones, and adults will enjoy Nemo’s Reef Spa by Thalgo France with more than 140 signature treatments.

Siyam World is the newest addition to the group, opened in 2021, with never-before-seen experiences, including one of the largest floating water parks, and the Maldives’ first horse ranch. This 133-acre island offers 16 room categories, exclusive beach suites and overwater villas with slides into the ocean. All villas feature a private freshwater pool and children under 12 eat and stay for free.
