Autograph Collection Hotels unveiled its latest property, Eugenia de Montijo, within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Toledo, Spain.

The hotel is located within the former palace of Empress Eugenia De Montijo. It offers 40 guestrooms and two suites. Each space blends the building’s heritage with modern finishes, including metallic and velvet touches. Ancient coffered ceilings rise high above guests’ heads in the reception, bar and restaurant areas. A crystal dome tops off the lobby, outfitted with stylish furnishings such as small Tiffany blue tables and plush, purple armchairs.

The dining options include The Dressing, serving breakfast, and Mr. Worth Atelier Restaurant, a new take on a Toledo tavern and Spanish cuisine.

The spa, Eugenia’s Bath, is the city’s only spa in the historic neighborhood. It includes a steam bath and sauna surrounded by original Roman architecture.

The hotel’s location provides easy access to nearby historic sites such as the Church of Santo Tomé, the Cristo de la Luz Mosque and the Alcázar Fortress.
