Travelers flying out of Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK) on Austrian Airlines have a new way to view seats during the booking process.
The new look is available for passengers booking flights operated by Boeing 777 flights out of Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK). The new 3-D seat map lets passengers virtually walk through the aisles of the plane to pick their favorite seat. Previously, this feature was only available in a 2-D capacity. If Austrian Airlines offers Boeing 777 flights, the service is available.
By the end of the year, the airline plans to offer the service at the web check-in portal. Further expansion is planned, but the airline did not give any specifics.
