American Express and Hilton teamed to donate up to 1 million hotel nights to medical professionals on the frontlines. Since April, hundreds of thousands of room nights have been booked.
The partnership is set to expand with a $1 million contribution from American Express to José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen. Together, they will provide healthy, freshly prepared meals to frontline healthcare professionals staying at participating Hilton properties in the United States.
The program began at select Hilton properties in Los Angeles in April, and now expands to New York and Washington, D.C. Additional cities are being considered. Healthcare workers at the properties can pick up the meals daily, and the $1 million donation will allow World Central Kitchen to cover ingredients and wages for restaurant employees. Learn more.
