Qantas and American Airlines passengers now enjoy additional frequent-flyer benefits.
American Airlines passengers receive access to five additional codeshare markets with Qantas, while Qantas passengers enjoy enhanced connectivity to 30 new destinations in North America. The five additional codeshare markets now open to American Airlines passengers include flights operated by Qantas between Los Angeles (LAX) and Sydney (SYD); Dallas (DFW) and Sydney, San Francisco (SFO) and Melbourne (MEL); San Francisco and Brisbane (BNE); and Chicago (ORD) and Brisbane.
“Our customers are captivated by the natural beauty and cultural richness Australia and New Zealand offer, so we’re excited to bring them even more frequent-flyer benefits and expanded codeshare opportunities for their adventures,” said Bridget Blaise-Shamai, president, American Airlines AAdvantage.
AAdvantage members additionally now earn up to two times more elite qualifying miles and elite qualifying dollars for most cabin classes on all Qantas flights. Likewise, Qantas frequent-flyer members earn more Qantas Points and status credits on American Airlines flights.
