Friday, Dec. 21, is National Ugly Holiday Sweater Day and Alaska Airlines celebrates by offering travelers decked in their holiday ugly finest early boarding across its 116-city network.
In addition, the airline plays holiday-themed boarding music and free holiday movies are available in-flight. The promotion extends to Horizon Air flights.
“This time of year, we consider ourselves the ‘merrier carrier,’ so we love going above and beyond to help our guests embrace the fun, festive side of flying during the holidays. Whether you’re heading home to celebrate tradition or jetting off to a sunny destination to escape the cold, we recognize your journey begins with us, and we’re happy to make your travels even brighter any way we can,” said Natalie Bowman, managing director of marketing and advertising, Alaska Airlines.
The airline encourages travelers flying Alaska Airlines Friday, Dec. 21, to share their looks on Twitter by tagging photos and videos with #UglySweaterDay and #iFlyAlaska.
