Alaska Airlines debuted its first Alaska Lounge on the East Coast at John F. Kennedy International Airport. It is located on the mezzanine level of Terminal 7 at JFK and accessible to Alaska guests traveling through or out of Terminal 7 who purchased a day pass or lounge membership or are flying first class.

The lounge features a living room-inspired design with multiple seating areas suitable for both business and leisure travelers. Starbucks-trained baristas are on staff to provide custom coffee and tea beverages. Casual dining is provided, such as oatmeal and yogurt bars in the morning and salad and soup in the afternoon and evening. The bar serves signature cocktails, microbrews and West Coast wines.

We’re also thrilled to be the first domestic lounge to introduce a full menu of barista-pulled handcrafted espresso beverages.”

The lounge’s opening follows the announcement of new, non-stop service between JFK and San Jose, Calif. (SJC), and a third daily Seattle (SEA) flight. Currently, Alaska Airlines operates 14 daily flights through JFK.
