Airports like Atlanta Hartfield-Jackson International Airport and Los Angeles International Airport’s Skyview Center Lot are going contactless with a revolutionary contactless access and payment solution from SPACES USA. The technology allows drivers to search, enter and pay from inside their automobile using a mobile phone and dialing a one-time number.
SPACES USA works at gated or non-gated facilities, with no app download, pre-registrations or advance bookings required. The technology works in conjunction with Waze, Google Maps and Apple Maps on its proprietary vehicle logistics platform. Parkers now have a way to avoid both touching surfaces and human contact.
“Acceleration of contactless payment for parking will be at a tipping point, it is just not publicly acceptable to force the public to touch equipment, screens, etc. for parking payment,” said Jerry Skillett, executive chairman, SPACES USA. “The growth of this will outpace even the most recent report from MasterCard that contactless payment since March 1 has increased by 40 percent, this will be the new normal.”
