Air India passengers will have new culinary options to look forward to. The carrier recently announced a new global in-flight menu that combines Indian flavors with global cuisine.
Chef Sandeep Kalra curated the new menu, of which highlights include Awadhi paneer anjeer pasanda, Japanese teppanyaki bowl, chicken bibimbap and Mediterranean tapas.

The carrier also offers more than a dozen special meal options available to preorder and catering to guests’ dietary and lifestyle preferences, including Kosher meals, vegan fare and a children’s menu.
“At the very core, the new food and beverage enhancements draw inspiration from Air India’s commitment to continuous innovation and transforming the customer experience,” said Rajesh Dogra, chief customer experience officer, Air India. “We are reimagining the inflight dining experience that resonates with the tastes and preferences of global travelers. Our thoughtfully curated menu caters to guests from different cultural affinities who prefer delectable gourmet meals. We endeavor to master the art of menu design and presentation to ensure every inflight meal goes beyond taste into serving care and culinary excellence.”

Air India will gradually roll out the new offerings throughout its network. The menu already launched on select routes including Bengaluru (BLR) to San Francisco (SFO), Mumbai (BOM) to New York (JFK), and Delhi (DEL) to Newark (EWR).
