Air France reopened a completely redesigned business-class lounge at Paris-Charles de Gaulle last week. Located in Terminal Two, the lounge is open to business-class customers and Flying Blue Elite Plus cardholders.

The first part of the lounge is now open, while the second, smaller section opens in July.

“This lounge is perfectly in line with Air France’s strategy to move upmarket, in the same way as the lounge at Terminal 2G,” said Anne Rigail, customer EVP, Air France. “It has been designed to surprise our customers with innovative services on the theme of well-being and gastronomy.”

The lounge devotes a large area to passenger wellbeing, with an “instant relaxation” area with loungers and mini-suites; a detox bar with a selection  of fine teas; two private cabins for facial treatments from Clarins beauticians; two private saunas; and large luxury showers.

The lounge’s French dining experience includes a La Table Gourmet dining area, with an open kitchen serving hot dishes; a self-service station with seasonal menu items, such as casseroles, salads and pastries; and a selection of specially-chosen wines and Champagnes.

Thanks to partnerships with French tech startups, the lounge offers the latest in digital decor. The entrance hall is outfitted with a series of screens displaying soft lighting effects. A 3D digital art form in the wellbeing area changes shape, color and intensity throughout the day. Similar to light therapy, a “sky” offers soothing lighting.

Other unique spaces include Le Club, for privacy; Le Petit Salon, a quiet space; the At Your Service area, where guests receive assistance from Air France staff to reserve showers and saunas, change seats or flights and more; and the Air France shopping showcases displaying Air France-branded objects.
