Air Canada spread its wings to Dubai this month, operating the new route from Toronto with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft featuring the carrier’s new cabin interior design with three classes of service.

“Air Canada is very proud to commence service to Dubai from our Toronto global hub at a time of increased travel between North America and the region. By extending our reach with our new non-stop service to Dubai, we are providing customers more convenient options for traveling to the Middle East using the newest, most modern aircraft in our fleet,” said Benjamin Smith, president, passenger airlines, Air Canada.

Direct service between Toronto (YYZ) and Dubai (DXB) is offered three times per week. Passengers on board the airline’s most modern aircraft have access to next-generation lie-flat seats in International Business Class, a premium-economy cabin and upgraded in-flight entertainment at every seat.

Dubai becomes Air Canada’s newest addition to its growing international network. In addition to Dubai, Air Canada and Air Canada rouge announced several new international services since December 2014, including Delhi (DEL), Brisbane (BNE), Lyon (LYS), London-Gatwick (LGW), Casablanca (CMN), Prague (PRG), Budapest (BUD), Glasgow (GLA) and Warsaw (WAW).

As a result of its ongoing expansion, Air Canada offers non-stop passenger service to 63 airports in Canada, 52 in the United States and 86 across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America and South America.
