JetBlue, the top airline in Boston, announced its continued growth at Boston Logan International Airport as it attempts to reach its goal of 200 daily departures in the coming years.
Starting this summer, JetBlue is adding more flights on 12 popular routes while also expanding or adjusting schedules to offer hourly service to Washington, D.C. (DCA), and the New York (EWR) metro area. It’s the latest in a series of growth announcements for the airline.
“JetBlue started building up our Boston operation from the moment we arrived more than fifteen years ago, and long before any other airline recognized the needs of New England’s travelers,” said Marty St. George, executive vice president, chief commercial officer, JetBlue. “The growth set for this year underscores our ongoing commitment to growth in Boston and introducing our award-winning service to even more travelers in the years ahead.”
JetBlue will phase in more flights over the summer and fall on 12 of its current Boston Logan routes:
