Singapore-based Capella Hotel Group announced the opening of Capella Sanya together with Chinese developer China Gezhouba Group Real Estate, due at the end of 2018.
The hotel will be the second opening in China for the hotel group. The new property will be located along the coast of Blessed Bay on Hainan Island and will feature 190 luxury rooms, suites and villas on the tranquil and tropical property.
Designers Jean-Michel Gathy and Bill Bensley created a collaborative art piece that showcases luxurious hospitality, landscape design and the culture and heritage of Chinese communities.
Additional features of Capella Sanya include executive and presidential suites within the Manor House as well as five low-rise Mansions to provide guests with an ultra-luxurious/residential experience.
The hotel will provide six dining concepts including a signature restaurant, authentic Chinese, a noodle bar and lobby lounge. In addition, the hotel will house a wellness sanctuary offering unique and innovative treatments such as the Moroccan Hammam and “Snow Cabin.”
