InterContinental Hotels Group announced the development of InterContinental Yao Yai Resort, debuting early 2020. The 170-guestroom luxury property is on the largest island in Phang Nga Bay, between Thailand’s mainland and Phuket Island. It is a 30-minute transport from airports in both Phuket and Krabi.

Ocean-view guestrooms are available in family-designated areas of the resort, with amenities such as panoramic views and plunge pools. Exclusive tropical villas include 18 units on the lagoon and creeks and 10 beachfront units.

We are expanding our luxury footprint to give affluent travelers a new destination to explore and unwind. Common spaces include three restaurants and bars, a gym, a pool and a spa. A water facilities center provides transfers. Beyond meeting and wedding facilities, a private sandbank is available for events held during low tide.
