Both Hyatt Centric La Rosière and Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid are open for business. The former is the first Hyatt Centric property in France and the first Hyatt ski resort in Europe, while the latter is the first Hyatt hotel in mainland Spain. The two join 19 other Hyatt Centric properties across the globe.
“Since its launch in 2015, the Hyatt Centric brand has proven to be one of the fastest-growing lifestyle brands,” said Steve Haggerty, global head of capital strategy and franchising, Hyatt. “The introduction of the Hyatt Centric brand to these European destinations marks a significant milestone for Hyatt, as we continue to increase our brand presence where our guests travel most and further connect with millennial-minded guests in the upper-upscale lifestyle segment.”
“We know our Hyatt Centric guests are eager to explore the world’s best destinations and be in the heart of the action,” said Sandra Cordova Micek, senior vice president, global brands, Hyatt. “As we continue to quickly expand the brand’s presence both internationally and domestically, we are able to offer more of today’s savvy explorers a local home base to go forth and discover their next sought-after destination.”
Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid is located in the heart of the iconic Spanish city, situated within a historic landmark building from the 1920s. With 159 guestrooms, the property is steps from El Retiro Park, the Royal Palace and more. There are three dining options and a rooftop terrace with views of Gran Via.
Hyatt Centric La Rosière offers 69 guestrooms in the Tarentaise Valley, perfect for alpine skiing and easy trips to Courchevel and Les Arcs. In addition to the contemporary guestrooms, there are 12 family suites with under-floor heating and mountain views. Guests enjoy three dining options, immediate ski slope access and a luxury spa.
