There’s a lot to love at the stunning Hotel Unique in São Paulo. Designed as an urban work of art by Ruy Ohtake and boasting an interior design by João Armentano, the property added to its reputation as an architectural landmark address with the new Oasis Presidential Suite. Glass-framed walls in interior spaces give an added sense of expansion and light, while other walls are covered with Nero Marquina marble and wood panels. Flooring suggests burnt cement, while suite amenities include Lanvin products and a 50-minute relaxation therapy at Sala Spa Caudalies.
Guests will open the door to the new suite to find complimentary Le Grande Dame Champagne and a plate of delectable cheeses prepared by Chef Emmanuel Bassoleil. The room’s fridge is stocked each day with Evian and Bodoi waters (plus coconut water). There’s a Nespresso coffeemaker, and evening turndown service arrives with the delivery of freshly prepared sweets. Guests enjoy packing and unpacking services, two items of clothing ironed per day, and luxury car services to motor them through the city.
Home to 84 rooms and 10 suites, the hotel also features a rooftop pool that looks out over Ibirapuera Park and the city. For dining, there’s Skye Restaurant and Bar, where Chef Bassoleil’s creations feature a menu of Brazilian, French, Italian and Japanese dishes. Guests can customize their stay by choosing from a selection of experiences including Dream Red, Dream Purple and Dream Blue, expressed with custom touches and gifts; or choose a Spa Room with a focus on bespoke wellness experiences.

Japan is a destination that rewards repeat visits because no two regions — or seasons — feel quite the same. One moment, you’re wandering through centuries-old geisha districts in Kanazawa. The next, you’re watching neon reflections dance across Tokyo streets long after midnight.

Sep 17, 2026High-Spirited Hong Kong: The Dynamic Hub Embraces Its Maritime History and Culture
It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. Airliners were required to bank sharply at the last moment, dodging hills and apartment blocks to line up with a runway jutting out into Kowloon Bay. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
