Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day where the ancient story began — in Ireland. Dublin boasts the best St. Patrick’s Day party for locals and tourists alike with three days of parades, dancing, costumes and, of course, drinking. The age-old legend of Saint Patrick is celebrated through the streets during three days of Guinness, live music and dancing leading up to the St. Patrick’s Day parade.
Beginning at noon, visitors and players parade from St. Patrick’s Cathedral to the Black Church while crowds of people look on and participate in festivities. The spectacle can be observed from anywhere, but primarily O’Connell Street Bridge, famous for having the best view. Stay in the city center for easy access to the pubs and party scene since the roads will not be drivable during the week of celebrations.
