Hilton opened a dual-brand property in Calgary offering 320 rooms and serviced apartments. The Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Downtown and Homewood Suites Calgary Downtown share a building.

The building is within walking distance of the city’s business district, the Calgary Riverwalk, and St. Patrick’s Island. While the hotels are connected, each has its own entrance, lobby and dining area.

The in-room features at the Garden Inn include a 47-inch TV, desk and chair, a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffeemaker. The restaurant offers breakfast, dinner, cocktails and evening room service to all Garden Inn guests.

Homewood Suites has several studio and one-bedroom apartments which include a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, dishware, coffeemaker, twin-burner stove and a dining area; a sleeper sofa; and desk. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast and grocery shopping services.

The dual-brand concept provides communal areas and similar amenities like complimentary in-room WiFi, access to the hotel’s indoor pool, fitness center and 24-hour business center with complimentary printing, fax and copy machines. The Pavilion Pantry provides guests with 24-hour snacks, drinks and microwaveable items. There is also 3,016 square feet of flexible meeting space which can accommodate up to 200 people.
