It’s the largest city center castle in Germany and includes 130 rooms and 10 courtyards, filled with relics from paintings to tapestries. In western Munich, Nymphenburg Palace was the baroque summer palace for Bavarian monarchs. A favorite historic attraction and one of Europe’s largest royal palaces, it was built in 1664 and also boasts an expansive park, wherein guests discover additional residences and other features.
