If you’ve ever nervously hailed an Uber right before you’re set to leave for the airport, you’ll rejoice in this news: Uber started a roll-out of new feature that allows you to schedule a ride up to 30 days in advance. The new feature is available in Seattle only for now, but other cities will be added soon. Riders can schedule a ride as early as 30 minutes ahead of time, up to a whole month in advance for an UberX pickup. In the app, users simply pick a pickup date, time, location and destination, and Uber reminds the passenger at the 24-hour mark and 30 minutes before the ride. “Even though we’re an on-demand company, we totally get it. Sometimes you just want that extra reassurance that your Uber will be there when you want to leave,” Tom Fallows, director of global experiences, Uber, told Wired. The same rates apply for scheduled rides as they would for a regular UberX ride, but will be subject to surge prices at the time of the ride if it’s during rush hour. You can cancel the ride up to five minutes after the car is dispatched without being charged a cancelation fee. Here’s the one catch: Scheduled rides are available, for now at least, only to riders who have Business Profiles (accounts linked to corporate cards).

It was known as the “Kai Tak heart attack” — the thrilling, terrifying final approach into Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Airport. The airport is long gone, but international visitors are arriving at Kai Tak again, albeit more sedately. Their cruise ships dock smoothly at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal, a modern gateway designed by Sir Norman Foster.
