Outrigger Hotels and Resorts is preparing for its 14th annual Waikiki SPAM JAM Festival, which attracts more than 25,000 guests each year. On April 30, festivalgoers will enjoy dishes from local restaurants featuring the Hawai’ian favorite, live entertainment and more.
During the event, guests to the Outriger Resorts and OHANA Hotels will receive a complimentary upgrade when they donate a can of SPAM to the Hawaii Foodbank.
“The Waikiki SPAM JAM Festival is a wonderful celebration of a local staple that is intertwined with Hawai’i’s history and culture. Food has a way of bringing people together, and Outrigger is proud to help gather the community for such a fun event that benefits the local families and individuals who receive support from the Hawaii Foodbank,” said Barbara Campbell, vice president of retail leasing and development, Outrigger Enterprises Group.
Admission to the event is free and all donations will benefit the Hawaii Foodbank, Waikiki Community Center and Visitor Aloha Society.
